ShutterTech first opened in 1974 known then as The Shutter Shop. In 1990 we incorporated as ShutterTech, Inc.
ShutterTech, Inc. is located in West Chester, PA and carries several lines of custom interior shutters. We specialize in being fabricators of synthetic shutters. Synthetic shutters are environmentally friendly and are more durable than wood and add value and beauty to your home. Synthetic shutters are available in standard colors and we also do custom colors. Synthetic shutters are available 2 1/2, 3 1/2, and 4 1/2 louvers, while wood shutters offer more variety, 1 1/4. 1 3/4. 2 1/2, 3 1/2. and 4 1/2 louvers. Wood shutters are available in a variety of stains and paint colors.
Unlike wood, synthetic shutters will not warp, swell, or yellow after years in the hot sun. Therefore synthetic shutters are great for rooms with moisture like kitchens, bathrooms, hot tubs, saunas, and pool areas. Synthetic shutters insulate three times better than wood.
